Blues-Jets and Avs-Stars kick things off Saturday evening. Waiting on the rest of the schedule.

That Atlantic Division side is going to be a war, should be some great hockey in both series. Same goes for both 2-3 series in the West, where everyone got to at least 100 points.

All day Tuesday the Lightning people were saying Game 1 would be Sunday at 12:30 p.m. and that was also on the preliminary working schedule...and then something changed.

Looks like there's an Alan Jackson concert at Amalie Arena on Saturday night. That would be a real quick turnaround to get the place ready for puck by noon the next day. My guess on the matter, anyway.

Alan Jackson, the country singer, is touring or doing an arena show? I thought he was sidelined with a major health issue.

He has two more arena shows left, per a story I just read -- Saturday in Tampa and May 17 in Milwaukee. Will also appear at a festival this summer, but he's retiring after that.

That concert is on the 26th. Next Saturday, which would have been Game 4 in Sunrise (now Game 3)

I am glad that we are all aware of the health and well being of Mr. Jackson, however.

We saw an Alan Jackson concert several years ago, the warmups by Phil Vassar and Joe Nichols. Jackson was the third-best performer that day. 1-Vassar; 2-Nichols; 3-Jackson.

Avs-Stars series is a banger. Second OT win in a row for the Stars.

The Kings are making the harmonica cool again. The Harmonica Class from the Koreatown Senior and Community Center has performed the National Anthem before the two first round home victories over Edmonton.

To be honest, they don't sound great but it's cool to hear the entire building sing the anthem as they play.

Is Vegas in real trouble? Feels like Game 4 is a must win for the Knights.
