Of course. NBA is going Friday-Monday-Thursday-Sunday to end. NHL could have gone Thursday-Sunday-Wednesday-Saturday to end with no conflict and avoid only one day off as they have to take a six-hour flight today. Oh well.

Heard the TV crew say during game 4 it was 98 in South Fla. yesterday, which made me flashback 50 years to watching Flyers/Sabres Finals fog game from the Aud on my parents console TV. We've improved arena cooling and TV a lot since then.

If something like that happened in the last 10 seconds of a blowout Super Bowl, the NFL refs would have called a too many men in the huddle penalty or something.

I really dislike the Panthers but can't help but respect how they've played the last three seasons. No idea what they'll look like next season -- cap space, free agents, etc. -- but they're a pain in the ass. Them adding rat-face ***** Marchand was chef's kiss ****.
