What star actor had two guest appearances on GP as two different characters?

Brad Pitt. I don't really recall his first appearance, although I think it was a guy who Carol liked. The second appearance was as Ben's hero rockstar who is nice to Ben during a promotional appearance, then gets caught by him kissing a woman who is not his wife and screams at him.

Also see that Dennis Haysbert appeared on three episodes, and imdb lists him as "Frank/Officer Wright/Police Officer," so he might qualify as well.

Judith Light was the mom in Who's the Boss. Joanna Kerns was Mrs. Seaver.

Kerns > Light.

On the topic of Light, before playing Angela Bower (the mom) on Who's The Boss, Light played former prostitute-turned housewife Karen Wolek in "One Life to Live" and won a daytime Emmy in 1980.

Speaking of boners... Julie McCullough. The Playboy model who played the babysitter and Mike's girlfriend for a whilè. I had that issue until a friend stole it, the *******.

I still can't get rid of the memory of her playing a woman who beats up her husband in a Sunday Night made for TV movie.

First thing that came to mind was the IRS took him out...

Growing Pains was the go-to sitcom in our house for the first three seasons or so.

Was it on Monday nights? I know Thursdays was NBC with Cosby/Different World/Cheers/Night Court/LA Law. Everybody watched that night.

Only old people watched CBS back then.

ABC had me for some of those nights between Growing Pains and, especially, Moonlighting. Wonder Years came along soon after - another must watch.
Tuesday night was WTB, GP, Moonlighting, thirtysomething.WTB & GP were part of that bizarre genre of good, successful sitcoms (Kate & Allie, Facts of Life, Gimme a Break), with laugh tracks, that were almost never funny. More like sit-soaps; people watched because they cared about the characters. Their patron saint is MASH.

At first NBC Thursdays had Family Ties in between Cosby and Cheers. That was an all-time lineup. Then they got greedy and moved FT to Sunday and NC to Wednesday.

I think Cheers & Cosby would hold up OK (if you can get past Bill), I'm guessing Night Court would not. The one I'd be most curious to try now is Moonlighting.

Just entering my teens when Moonlighting started. Cybill was hot. And Bruce Willis was my introduction to the flawed hero. Loved it.

First two seasons were really good. Then it became pretty awful. I've seen episodes here and there since it went off. The black & white episode and the Shakespeare episode were really good.

But overall, I'm not sure it'll hold up. Very much a creature of the mid-to-late 80s.

Night Court on one of my digital channels. I assure you, it holds up pretty well. (But then, I'm one of those people who still likes MASH.)

I still got that one!

DdV is Kearns' only sister (with two brothers, per imdb) and Light is an only child (per same). I think we can shut that one down as myth.
