RIP Brenda Fricker

Won an Oscar for "My Left Foot" and was Mike Myers' mom in "So I Married an Axe Murderer," but for those of my generation, it was the Central Park Pigeon Lady in "Home Alone 2" and as the foster mom in "Angels in the Outfield."

Such a shame, because I just stumbled across "Angels..." on TV a few nights ago.

Still can't believe Kevin just left her there in the park after she basically saved his life.

She was also a hoot as Mike Myers's mom (oh yeah, and the other Mike Myers's wife) in the underrated "So I Married an Ax Murderer." RIP.
