Twitter tells me today is the anniversary of The Butt Fumble.

Great slate of Turkey Day Games: Vikings-Lions, Redskins-Cowboys, Steelers-Colts (although this game will suck if Luck is out).

Here is the Indianapolis Star story on Luck. I won't believe he is missing the game until he is declared inactive. They apparently don't even know when he suffered the concussion, but the symptoms became apparent Sunday night. Every story suggesting he is unlikely to play is based on the idea that the concussion protocol takes time. I'm assuming they will make it happen if he is well enough.

Yeah, I bet he plays, especially after last night's Texans loss. They'll trot him out there and then he has 10 days to rest.

Haha. I thought, "I'm not efforting some goofy-ass headline."

Waste of my creativity.

I actually spent time pondering sending Jeff Fisher a congratulations card on reaching the second most losses in NFL history and doing it much faster than Tom Landry.

Wanted to tell him to keep at it this year to become number one with four more losses.

What kind of sick ******* am I?

For thread title, you could have gone with "The gang who can't kick straight."

Mark my words: When a missed 33-yard PAT affects a team covering the spread or not, they'll move the point-after kicks back to the 3-yard-line.

Gambling built the League.

The make affects covering the spread, what's the difference?

I rather like the new PATs. It's doing what it's supposed to do -- creating drama, uncertainty and another strategic debate point about going for two.

This was the whole intent of scrapping the previous system and its 99.7 percent success rate.

Didn't that happen Sunday with the Pats-49ers?
The 49ers were plus-13 in some books. Gostkowski missed a PAT early, and the Pats won 30-17 instead of 31-17.

Best group of Turkey Day games I can remember. All with huge playoff implications. Looking forward to Thursday.

The Steelers-Chargers disaster a few years back proved the league doesn't care about your point spreads. Just that you talk about them.

Andrew Luck (concussion) out for Thanksgiving game

Colts officially declare Andrew Luck out for the Thursday night game.

And yet despite his meager career statistics, I am convinced Scot Tolzien will manage a decent effort against the Steelers' ****ty secondary.

Likely to be a repeat of last week, where Steelers play down to the competition and win a boring game against a bad team.
