The NFL will consider changing the overtime playoff rules so that both teams will get a possession unless the first team scores a touchdown.
I like the proposal except for the fact that it will only apply to the playoffs. I get that they don't want long overtime games screwing up their TV schedules, but I don't think that we'd suddenly start seeing a ton of long-OT games. I think it could apply to the entire season and maybe one game would screw them up.
