All I keep hearing about are how teams are preparing for the 2010 Lebron James sweepstakes by clearing cap room.

What about this year and next? What an injustice to fans . No wonder why the league is failing.

One can only hope that the Knicks lose in this particular Derby, as James notes the Klown Kollege levels of the ownership -- not to mention a coach who doesn't coach defense.

Oh, the joy.

Everyone wants to clear rooms to sign LeBron in 2010, because if you win that title you'll be champs for two years thanks to the impending lockout.

The NBA is no worse off than the rest of America. The economy works in cycles, and this is a bad one.

Someone remind me again how many NBA championships LeBron has won.
and how many years did it take Jordan to get his first?

I'd be clearing cap room to hire The Great Buddha, Phil Jax. He's got more rings right now than anyone in the league.

Yeah, he's 24 years old already and still no ring. Hell, he's only carried his team to the Finals once. Why would anybody clear cap space for that loser?

How many years did it take James to get to the playoffs? His 3rd season. Jordan's Bulls team made the playoffs in his first year.

Jordan had to play the real Celtics, Bird-McHale-Parrish, the Bad Boy Pistons, The Show Time Lakers.

LeBron's playing in a glorified AAU NBA
