It always seems like Riverside and the San Fernando Valley pop up as a huge metro area that the feds somehow don’t roll up into LA. Are they still too close to Los Angeles to oversaturate the market or is there not enough wealth there or just what is the deal?

I can deal with LeBron's public utterances. But currently in our country there are many people in positions of great power who I wish would shut the **** up and go away.

I think it is because of the lack of stadiums/arenas and the admirable reluctance of California voters to fund the facilities.

No, but after last year's disaster, having the Suns potentially at least get one playoff series in excites this fan. House money. Just need one home win this week to make it happen.

It wouldn't surprise me if any of the top four teams in the East made the finals. Detroit and Boston are relying on players who were injured this year, and the stress of the playoffs can exacerbate that, unfortunately. I'd still consider them the heavy favorites, though.

I would be more surprised if someone made it out of the West besides the Spurs and Thunder. They're just deeper and nastier than the next rung down teams to me (Nuggets, Rockets, Wolves). The Lakers might have been in that second group before all of their injuries.

Something I saw on Reddit that surprised me - Kevin Durant quietly played 78 games this year, 36.4 MPG.
