I'm amused somebody broke one the 10 Commandments while arguing in favor of strict interpretation of the Bible.

I am arguing that churches who claim to be Christian churches should not waffle on their beliefs even if their beliefs offend the sensibilities of the American culture.

The message of Jesus -- you know the one in the "1,000 year old book" -- hasn't changed and shouldn't change just because our culture is changing.

In many ways it is SUPPOSED to be offensive as Christ was considered a radical when he walked this earth and many of the things he said were contrary to the culture of the time.

Again, I am one of the least religious people around, don't go to church.

I just wish churches would stay true to who they are or at least claim to be, it is the last place on earth where political correctness and hurting people's feelings is supposed to matter.

Well, what Akin said is factually wrong and can be demonstratively proven as such.
