And, back on topic, sorry Liesl. New Year's Resolution was to cut down on those nasty little words. Think I used them only 2-3 times all day, and not the f-word once. I might just reward myself by working all f_eaking night.

This shocked me the first time I read it...because you try harder than anyone on here NOT to curse. I always get a kick out of it when I read you write "Herb Sendek got F__ked," because this place is all about finding excuses and creative ways to curse and you avoid it at all costs. So I figured you just had the self-bleeper on off the board too.

Cursing is one vice I'll never give up...well, except for around my nephew.

I used to have a filter, BYH, but frustration and a world seemingly increasing in madness has worn that away off the board.

I taught many, many sailors their vocabulary - off the board, that is. I try not to use that on the board, though I hope it's crystal clear that those who do are not judged.

I wouldn't say I'm filthy ... not the least bit carnal with my verbage. But profane? Oh yeah, too often to excess. I won't pretend I'm stopping now or anytime soon, though I just had a convo with a good friend and aired some frustration. Unfortunately, I fired in a couple extra colorful adjectives given my lame attempts to slow down the vulgarity train. Ugh ...
