OK. I need some serious help here from the SJ Nation. I need as many sentences as you all can come up with that use the word "****" as a noun.

Here is what we have so far.

"She was a good ****."

This one was debated. However, I do believe that it fits the bill of using **** as a noun.

The other submissions:

"That **** is a good dude."

"You're a nasty ****, aren't you?"

"Well, tell those ****s to listen to you!" (my personal favorite - submitted by a fellow SportsJournalists.commer)

Now, that last was my favorite, since it proved me right, in that the word "****" CAN be used as a noun.

So, the next time I show my face at this place, I need a list that is longer than I am tall (yeah, I'm short, but don't let that stop you) of the word being used as a noun.

Let's have at it. Do not let me down, oh faithful SJ friends ...

I think Steve Martin's rental-car rant from "Planes, Trains and Automobiles" may be of some help. Or were those mostly adjectives?

**** you. :D

I could be wrong here, but in that instance, **** is the verb, not the noun. Keep on topic, Bubs.

NOUN. Key point here.

And thank you, SC. You are #1 on the list.

There's ****stick and ****tard and ****-up, however those fit in. Definitely nouns.

I told her to go eat a big bowl of ****.

Donald Rumsfeld is a useless ****.

Like I give a ****.

If I wanted a dirty, nasty ****, I'd have called Lindsay Lohan.

I'd sure like to throw a **** Kate Winslet's way.

Lord, people. Stick with the rules. I need SENTENCES.

Give me sentences. I have come to the professionals for help. Don't let me down.

Where's John Brophy when you need him?

Actually, I think he may have used that word once with me. And I talked to him quite a few times. Must have mellowed with age.

And, back on topic, sorry Liesl. New Year's Resolution was to cut down on those nasty little words. Think I used them only 2-3 times all day, and not the f-word once. I might just reward myself by working all f_eaking night.

The **** of it was that SportsJournalists.commers couldn't distinguish between nouns and verbs.

I didn't give a ****ing ****.
