So, the thread title alludes to the obvious.

I've thought about this a lot. Took me months. And I know Substack has serious issues. OK, fine.

But I also know I needed an outlet, one in which I could let it all hang out. And write without an editor.

It's been liberating.

I don't know how long it will last. I do have more topics I've outlined to pursue, so it'll be a while.

It's felt good. My 38 subscribers since I started three weeks ago, I adore.

I started it not for my ego but for an outlet, but I do like the idea of people liking and commenting on posts. Honestly, I've been surprised by the response. And I've liked it.

I promised myself in 2026 that I'd write more, so I am. It's been really great for my mental health. So I'm doing it.

If you want small- (SMALL!) time newspaper stories by someone who never made it, I have a few. PM me and I'll send you the link.

I hope y'all will keep writing, too.

It matters.

Good luck to you. I've contemplated either writing a LinkedIn post, Substack, or something similar for a while. I don't have a lot of time, and when I do have time, I'm into other projects. Maybe this is something to push forward.
