So, I checked yesterday and the Bucs were being shown this Sunday in my market, which doesn't happen often (yes, I know it's because they suck). So, I was all ready to enjoy Sunday with my team, but I checked again today AND MY LOCAL STATION SWITCHED GAMES!

Damn you NFL Broadcast Map Guy, for giving me hope, then yanking it away, just as the Titans are likely to do to the Bucs this week.

Most people would be happy to not have to watch the Bucs and the Titans.

OTD,

Do you have Skype? Download it and find someone who's watching the Bucs game. Ask them to point their webcam at the TV screen. Sit back and enjoy.

Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Or I could go to a bar, but that's not the point . . .

Slingbox. Find a friend in the Tampa area, hook one of those babies up at his place, and you're good to go.

Even though I've got Sunday Ticket, I still hit that site every week. I love seeing the little islands getting an odd game compared to the rest of the region.

It is interesting how that happens. Like for this week, under the Fox single game, for some reason theres a good sized isolated chunk of New Mexico that's getting Minnesota-Chicago.

Nice discussion board on the map site.
You can learn about the NFL on TV there.
Too bad USA Today couldn't run maps like that on the back of their Friday sports section with Hiestand's column.

Exactly.
Or this week, no CBS game at 1 p.m. in Jacksonville because the Jaguars didn't sell out.

Wow, nobody in California gets New England-Dallas.

Yeah, and apparently Arizona gets nothing at all - if my geography is correct. Why is it gray?

As for TB vs. Tenn.: I will be getting that damn game and I'm a good 6-8 hours from both cities, so I couldn't care any less >:(.

I think it's because they don't know what game they're going to show yet. Some stations change games at the last minute.
