Death Proof definitely suffered from Tarantino's dialogue diarrhea, but to me the car chase was more than enough payoff. I think that was one of the best car chase scenes in movie history. Pitch-perfect and original in an area where you think it's all been done before.
 
So they did release the DVDs separately?

I still haven't seen either, in part because three hours is way too ****ing long to sit through a movie and it was also only in theaters for about three weeks...

Tarantino is brilliant, but he needs to learn not to alienate his audience... Nobody wants to sit through a three-hour film.

Deathproof isn't 3 hours. I think it's more like 1 1/2 hours. It's worth a rent if you're a skeptic.

And I would have gladly sat through Kill Bill if they had left it as the three-plus hour epic is was meant to be.
