Awesome, but what the hell is the other dude doing? He just stands there as the kid is like, oh OK, you're not actually rebounding for me.

When I was in college several million years ago, one of my friends made a halfcourt shot at a game and won $500 and a year's supply of Coca-Cola. To illustrate how long ago this was, when he hit the shot, he ran around the court screaming "I can pay tuition!"

It turned out that a "year's supply" of Coke meant a case of 24 12-ounce bottles per week. The guy was swimming in Coke. He was giving it away to anyone who would take it. If you were having a party, he'd volunteer to bring the Coke.

I went to an NBA game once where the home team, one of the worst in the league, was down by something like 18 points to one of the best teams in the league at the end of third quarter.

Home team brings a guy out to try a half court shot for a trip to the Carribean. He nails it, crowd goes wild for the first time since opening tip.

Crowd gets home team woken up, they go on a huge run and end up rallying to tie the game before losing it in overtime. A fun memory.

That really was his lucky night. Layup nearly spun out, needed help from the iron to make the FT and 3-pointer. Then he hits the home-run, half-court shot at buzzer.

Oh, and he won the $10,000 tuition contest too. ;)

Wow, every shot had ****ty form, every shot looked off and lucky to bounce in, but damned if they didn't all go in anyways. That kid ****s lucky charms.
