I'm sure she'll do a keynote at the next national HR convention. Talk about a place that is begging for a visit from Triumph (the insult dog) not the band.

Assuming that's real - if the company felt the need to issue a statement that no other employees attended the concert, they are in desperate need of some expert crisis communications advisers to be in their corner.

If online speculation is wrong about the identity of this third person shown, who ****ing cares? Move on to what your real issues are, and stop rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic.

Rule one of having an affair: Don't have an affair

Rule Two of having an affair: Don't get caught on the kiss cam.

Seriously. I went on a date with a woman just before I started dating my wife. The kiss cam came on and I leaned away. I didn't want the awkward first date first kiss to awkwardly be on a kiss cam. And it probably would have been a slick move too. Still leaned away. …

There was no second (obviously)
My old man worked for the Toronto ambulance service and he knew a sketchy doctor that would write him prescriptions for painkillers any time he needed them. The doc also had Leafs season tickets and would spread them around to some of the ambulance guys (apparently the first Leaf game I saw, in 1972, was in his seats). Then one night he was shown in the crowd of a game on Hockey Night in Canada with a woman who was not his wife. No more tickets.

These memes may be getting old quickly, but I still appreciate a good woman-screaming-at-cat meme any time.

They had to do that to keep investors comfortable and hold on to the company's unicorn valuation.

If ithe cHiEf PeOpLe oFfICEr is the only one who knows she's onboarding the married CEO, that's one employee in a department (albeit the worst employee possible in the worst department possible and in the worst way possible).

If a departmental underling from HR was also in attendance, it's implausible that she didn't know about the shenanigans and the marital status of those involved. What's more, that means her boss AND her boss's boss were very comfortable with her knowing they were probing the depths at Astronomer.

The implication is total cultural rot ($0.0135 royalty paid to Whitlock for that) and zero integrity in the one department whose sole job (at least on its face) is to maintain culture and integrity. The company not only has to find a new CEO and HEAD of HR but there's now a whole functional group that cannot be trusted or respected (and that's below the subterranean bar HR usually sets) but cannot be fired and replaced, either.

It's the difference between two people being stupid and the whole company arguably being a farcical free-for-all from the top on down.

The side piece has a type.

As it turns out, Byron isn't the only CEO in her life, with the New York Post reportingthat Cabot, whose maiden name is Stanek, lives with, and is presumably married to, Andrew Cabot, the CEO of Privateer Rum, a Massachusetts-based rum company.
Having previously shared another home in the same town, the couple purchased a new $2.2 million home in New Hampshire together just five months ago.

Kristin Cabot has been an advisory board member at Privateer Rum since September 2020, according to her now-deleted LinkedIn page. And photos of the Cabots posing with two children have been circulated online in the wake of the scandal.
