Stop with your childish reality shows, or murder-morgue dramas. This show just consistently kicks ass.

This has quickly become one of my favorite shows on. I don't watch many sitcoms at all. But the hour of 30 Rock and The Office are absolutely 100% funny. Baldwin is incredible on the show.

it is great. too bad its ratings aren't very good.

my friend is the brother of the actor that plays kenneth, and he said they're not too optimistic about a season 3

It's my favorite show on TV. Easily. They had a line the other week where Donaghy was talking about his family and he drops in "my brother Tim fixes NBA games." Just great writing.

The ratings of this, and the Sunset Strip show that didn't make it through last year, are further indications how moribund the SNL franchise is.

agree 100%. the buzz is starting to build and I think its THE show come spring

I love 30 Rock so much that I want to take it out behind a middle school and get it pregnant.

I love this show and I love Tina Fey. Funny and sexy.

How can this show get dumped... didn't it win the emmy for best comedy?!?!

So did Arrested Development.

"she wrote all the political stuff for Donny and Marie"
"If that's a Haldeman reference, thank you."
"It's like the Phil Spector entourage all over again."

Easily the most tightly written show on TV right now

Tracy: I'm gonna make you a mix tape. You like Phil Collins?
Jack: I've got two ears and a heart, don't I?

Tonight's episode looks like a winner: "Ludachristmas" guest starring Andy Richter, Buck Henry, and Elaine Stritch! A rerun of The Office from last year ["Benihana Christmas"] precedes. Should be a pretty solid 90 minutes [The Office is an hour long episode...in my opinion the show loses something when it's stretched out to an hour]. Some sort of SNL Christmas special runs after 30 Rock.

And, unfortunately, I believe this will be the last new episode until after the writers strike ends. And I heard yesterday that those who would know about these things say that the strike will not end any time soon. They are saying 6 months at least as the studios are now ready to write off the season, and feel they have the cash to outlast the writers.

So enjoy tonights show.

Anyone see the season premiere with Erection Cove?

It is the funniest episode of TV comedy I have seen since Seinfeld's prime.

Watched it online the other day. Incredible, as usual.

''They told us to sweep sawdust so we'd find work at a mill... I feel like I'm back in that boiler room, making little piles of sawdust while Gilly plays with himself in a corner.''

"Gilly chewed through his headgear."
