Let's say you've gone on that fabulous vacation to somewhere exotic like Dubai or Cozumel or you're going to visit your family in Korea, Nigeria or even in Huntsville, Alabama.
You even spent a whole year living in Asia or even went backpacking through Europe.
Of course you did that 30 Plus Teams Tour of Las Vegas just to see Allegiant Stadium, home of the Las Vegas Raiders football team.
All these trips are over and you're now ready to come home.
You're going to miss the friends you've made and you're happy to be returning home to sleep in your own bed.
Or are you?
Something just doesn't feel right.
You might even be sleeping in your bed that happens to be in your parent's home.
Something still isn't making you happy.
You're doing everything you can to keep from thinking about the fact that you're leaving.
That can't make you happy at all.
You can't stop thinking about the wonderful time you had and the things that you saw.
Worse for everyone else, you CAN'T stop talking about your trip to anyone who will listen.
You want to go away again so badly and really very soon
What's wrong with you?
Are you suffering from post travel depression?
Before you start laughing think about it.
Your trip is over or almost over .
You say to yourself, 'I REALLY don't want to go back. Maybe I can stay one more day if I have the money and I can change my ticket.'
Or are you like the Sports Diva and buy two one way tickets because you're not sure when you're going to come back home.
Sometimes I wait until the last minute to buy a return ticket.
Don't laugh it works for me.
As a matter of fact, I'm doing this for this 30 Plus Teams Tour of Washington DC that I'm on right now.
I guess it's a blessing to live in a city where transportation is plentiful.
Since most of my travel consists of bus or train travel in the United States and sometimes Canada, it's relatively easy to change my ticket to leave on another day or time, especially if I'm taking the bus.
Changing your tickets on airlines or Amtrak is a little tricky and can even be expensive.
Do you dread every minute that you get closer and closer to the time that you're leaving?
Do you look forward to that next trip, only to realize that your next trip isn't coming anytime soon.
Why do you feel this way?
Rather than dwell on the fact that your next trip isn't for a long time, work with what you've got.
Do that 30 Plus Teams Tour in your own backyard.
You can't tell me that you've seen everything where you live.
I live in New York City and im not even going to lie and tell you that I've seen everything the Five Boroughs have to offer, let alone Long Island and Upstate New York.
Get together with friends and be a tourist in your own city.
Or explore by yourself because staying home is NOT an option.
It will take your mind off the urge to tell everyone about how great the night markets of Saigon are or about how excited you were to go river rafting down the Colorado River.
How do you feel after you come back from a trip and what do you do about it?
