The Lions may be on a bye week, but I'm guessing Aaron Glenn will be busy. Considering the injuries the Lions have had this year on defense and the job they did on the Vikings, figure he'll land somewhere.
If you’re Glenn or Johnson, do any of the current openings……or even the potential openings get you excited enough to leave? (Money aside)

I know the Titans won't eat Callahan's contract, but they are the "Colorado" of the NFL, and hiring Sanders and drafting his kid wouldn't be the dumbest thing in the world.
I think it would be a dumb idea.

Sean Lewis, Colorado's offensive coordinator in 2023, did not last a season. One reason was that Lewis ran an offense that used a lot of choice routes. Shedeur wanted more predesigned plays. And viola, Pat Shurmer appears as OC. How does Deion hire a good OC with that dynamic? There are many examples of father/son coaching relationships not working out. I don't think it is a wise idea to deal with the nepotism issues involved in a HC/QB1 situation.

I don’t think Tennessee gets the chance at Sanders. Has to be Hunter.

I think that Rex is getting a courtesy interview because of the Tannenbaum connection. That being said, he probably comes across great in meetings and Woody seems like someone who is impressed by his rah rah style.

If I’m a betting man, Titans take Hunter…..Giants trade up from 3-2 to take Sanders.
Deion stays in Boulder.

Not saying they won't draft a QB in the first round but trading up is probably a step too far. Their schedule is going to kill them no matter what next year and I bet the Daniel Jones PTSD is too strong.

The Giants have released a Monopoly deed stating that they can’t get anyone else interested so they’re going to stay in this loveless marriage and hope for the occasional handjob out of boredom.

Titans have a chance at everyone; they have first pick.
Me or Dixie might get tabbed by them for all we know.

I bet every team looking now wishes there was a Jim Harbaugh available. Look at what he did to change the culture and their record. Dude can change things. Of course my buddy who had deep lines into Stanford FB says he will wear out his welcome in about 5 years or so.

Is drafting Shadeur, with dad's baggage, the NFL equivalent of drafting one of Ball's offspring in the NBA?

Yeah, but you’re smarter than Woody Johnson.

Hell, a saguaro cactus is smarter than Woody Johnson.

Looking for a smarter Woody?

Sounds good but Ball never took a 1-10 team and transformed into a 9 win team in a Power 5 Conference in two years.
Oh I wasn't thinking the two were a package, but thinking more along the lines of Deion becoming one of those dads if his spawn doesn't start right away, dad thinks he's being misued, ect. The Lakers somehow got dad to STFU, but this is Deion here.

Once their dad's circus ran its course, the Ball kids have done pretty well for themselves. If Shadeur has an equivalent NFL career he'll probably make a team pretty happy.
