I was going to bring this up on the main thread last week but then when you look at their losses before then they were basically against all top 15 teams. He's gotta be on the thinnest of ice though

No way is his ice thin. He’s not too far removed from an extension. He beat K twice in his first year. That’s all they care about.
As to the Heels’ NCAA tournament hopes, the AD is the committee chair. They’ll make it. They may have to go through Dayton, but they’ll get in.

I think it’s three years after this one. But that’s not as much time as I thought. If they have a good year next year, he’ll get another extension. If they don’t, he will be on the clock.

Biggest thing that I noticed, they have a 6-9, 23-year-old FRESHMAN? I give Gottlieb full-credit for putting his money where his mouth is - well his family at least - since he kept the radio gig.

International player from Israel. He was playing professionally in Israel, but I guess he passed muster with the NCAA because they cleared him. Probably had military service too.
