Here on the East Coast in Virginia, it started raining Monday night and has rained continuously since and is expected to go into Thursday morning. No huge deluge, just a consistent switch between drizzle and showers. No blue sky at all.

Same here in Upstate South Carolina. Hoping that this week’s gloom and yuck finally gets us some color on the trees before the leaves just die.

That cold front is strong, for what it’s worth. We have wind gusts of 50 mph, it’ll barely make it out of the 50s today, and my lights have flickered too many times to count.

It's a good thing Helen, Ga., was super busy Saturday and Sunday. Four inches of rain later, I've got more leaves in the gutters of the house than on the trees. (But I'm certain I'll be clearing them three more times before we leave for Florida.)

Strange season. It actually came close to predictions in terms of named storms, hurricanes, and major hurricanes.
We just got lucky that it was the first time in a decade one didn't hit the US.

Mother Nature threw a lot of gutter balls. And the Gulf of Release the Epstein Files didn't have any action at all.
