Gregg Williams of bountygate and 17-31 Buffalo Bills fame doesn't seem like someone you work to desperately hold on to as head coach. Its the Browns, so there is always the chance they'll hire Hue 2.0, but holding on to the guy who went 5-3 in a dead cat bounce kind of way to end the year also seems pretty Browns-ian to me.

Or almost 6-2 after beating the Ravens on their home field.

I think, given the history Dorsey and Mike McCarthy have, that McCarthy can have the job if he wants it.

Barring injury disasters, you're not going to go 4-12 with the Browns your first year, but expectations have changed completely. Say you go from 7=8-1 to 9-7. That's improvement, but fans, and maybe your bosses, will be looking for much more. There's wild-card possible talent down in Miami if you can convince management to move on from Tannehill. But Denver, Arizona and the Jets, well, the Temple job looks better to me.

No. Harbaugh has now had 3 moderately disappointing seasons in a row, and never beaten his main rival.

You do that in the NFL, you're ****canned. In Ann Arbor, he's safe unless he starts going 7-6 every year.

There was a moment this season where you could see the entire AFC North gone. I'm sure Harbaugh's "interest" in the NFL rises in tandem with the grumbling he hears in Ann Arbor about that Peach Bowl beatdown. Surprised there haven't been rumors about Gruden (East coast version) and/or McDermott in Buffalo. There have been 25 AFC East coaching changes since Belichick got the Pats job.
The league has gotten out of whack though. Sure McVey came in after Goff's first year and straightened him out, but the usual timeline was coach hired, has a year to evaluate QB position, brings in "his" QB and then has two years to sink or swim.
Now a GM drafts a guy, existing coach gets canned after a year. New coach comes in and has to wait two years to get "his" QB (if he makes it that long). Tampa is going to have a hard time getting a coach willing to bet his career on Winston. The Bengals are a team that should make a play for Stafford, but they're too cheap.
One final thought: how many "great young offensive minds" don't look so great when Peyton Manning or Favre isn't part of the package?
