Is this like Christmas morning, Simon?
You HAD to mention that, huh?

Yeah.... pretty much.

Of course.... now it will get delayed a week!

Have I read that Pittsburgh might be in line for an easy schedule this season?

Opponents and sites already are determined. It's the order that would be announced.

The Donkey haters will love this year ...

If you thought things were ugly in Denver now, wait'll until about Week 12 of this disaster-in-waiting:

Home
Kansas City Chiefs
San Diego Chargers -- L
Oakland Raiders
Cleveland Browns
Pittsburgh Steelers -- L
New England Patriots -- L
Dallas Cowboys -- L
New York Giants -- L

Away
Kansas City Chiefs
San Diego Chargers -- L
Oakland Raiders
Baltimore Ravens -- L
Cincinnati Bengals
Indianapolis Colts -- L
Philadelphia Eagles -- L
Washington Redskins -- L

Since they won't sweep KC, that's pretty much 11 losses right off the bat. Oh boy.

I'm pretty sure I've read elsewhere that the sked will be released next week or the week after.
But I am often wrong.

And it will be covered like Moses just showed up with a couple of stone tablets.

These 15..... 10 Commandments.

It's hard to decide what's more exciting...the day the schedules come out or watching the NFL Draft.

I'm getting to think you are right. I have heard no tease yet.

And, considering the whole 2009-10 schedule is almost a week later this year, that might make sense.

I like watching you take smoke breaks more.

Makes Cutlers actions a little more understandable...

And with the final pick of the third round, the Pittsburgh Steelers select Hines Ward, wide receiver from the University of Georgia...

Never gets old.

I know the Thursday opener is Titans-Steelers and the Sunday night opener is Bears-Packers. Can't remember who plays in the MNF doubleheader. I think Oak-SD is the second one. I'm certainly ready for the rest of the sked to be released.

Any football news this time of year is wonderful.

The opponents have already been announced. It's the actual schedule that isn't out yet.

The Steelers' schedule does look a little easier than 2008. It helps that they are playing the NFC North instead of the NFC East. In non-division conference games, they get the Chiefs, Broncos, Titans and Dophins. In '08, they played the Titans, Patriots, Jaguars and Texans.

If the Redskins trade Jason Campbell for that whiny ***** Cutler, you can turn that L against them into a W. ****abuncha Snyder. </Redskins fanboi looser>
