YouTube TV

Wanted to consider YouTube TV when I cut the cord, but that contract ... when one of the competitors didn't require one did that possibility in.

When was that? One of the reasons we went with YouTube TV was that it is month-to-month with no contract required.

I might be confusing it with some of the other competitors – without looking, I probably crossed up YouTube with DirecTV. I was down to Fubo because I wanted a comprehensive package without a contract and wanted to get the Carolina Hurricanes back on my TV (cable that had a legal monopoly here - stupid, greedy city government – cut it without explaination and then jacked my rates ... sayonara to that double whammy). Ended up liking Hulu more - even without Fan Duel – and grabbing Fan Duel separately because it was affordable on its own. Still really pleased with the whole thing.

Youtube TV does not have a contract. I tried Fubo on a trial when Disney and YouTube were arguing, and I thought it was a terrible interface.

YouTube is down, and apparently YouTube TV is down with it.

I had some problems yesterday too. Kept kicking me out.

Man, I can go down some serious rabbit holes on YouTube. Right now I'm in a Baltimore phase, reading about its decline and now the sporadic rebirth of some neighborhoods. Lots of good "abandoned housing porn," for the lack of a letter term.

Blocks and blocks of empty row houses that would fetch millions in Brooklyn or Manhattan.

Can you post some Baltimore links? Ivw always enjoyed that place.

YT Tv now connects to ESPN+ or whatever it is called. You can watch only through the ESPN app, but it will supposedly be integrated with YT TV later this year.

I have YTTV. I connected through the ESPN app and got the extra stuff from ESPN this week, like the early golf coverage.

I stuck with DirecTV until the end of 2018 and have cut the cable ever since. I can get enough entertainment online, can still get live sports events over the air and can binge-watch series like "Landman" over time. I got a good data plan from Ma Bell.

How? Did you sign into the ESPN app with your YouTube credentials or did you already have an espn account?
Never have paid extra for ESPN. Logged into ESPN with my YTTV credentials. And I synched it up in the YTTV app on my phone and now have it on both of my TVs as well.

That’s already been in place. The integration will be the move forward.

My subscription is on pause another three weeks or so until football starts. Need to remember to switch to the sports only package.
