I don't mind falling back just because I tend to really enjoy that extra bit of sleep. Honestly, though, we really don't need the time changes any more. My cat didn't understand that it was not his breakfast time. Parents of young kids on my Facebook all start posting the "I got up because my kids are still on a schedule" shtick. Cool it isn't dark when I'm driving into work at 6:30. I liked it better when the sun wasn't in my eyes that early.

China Only Has One Time Zone—and That's a Problem

We're in the western fringe of the Eastern time zone, so we get darker earlier than anybody. From Dec. 4 to Dec. 14, sunset is at 5:04 pm.

Um, a 5:04 sunset is for for pikers. A 4:11 sunset December 4 through December 13 in Boston.

Ehh, no. As pointed out, sunset is 4:00ish on the eastern edge. So tough **** for me.

Most nights we shut the cats out of the bedroom, but one of those two assholes is usually pawing at the door at about 5:30, singing the songs of his people. .... now it's happening at 4:30. Ugh.

The alternative is to leave the door open and have that ****er walking across your face.
