I will be driving past Citi next week and I'm looking forward to seeing those trashy billboard signs again right behind the outfield wall -- Jeff's going to need the revenue stream to sign another 38-year-old catcher.

I saw this in Andrew Baggarly's blog today and thought it was pretty neat. This is a clip of Vai Schierholtz, father of Giants' outfielder Nate, doing some incredible things with a skateboard...at nearly 50 years old. I could only hope & pray that I'm half as agile (and cool) by that age!

Ricciardi can't be any worse than Eduardo Perez. One time the host had to explain to him why wins aren't a great way to measure pitchers.

LJB, I like Krukie. Always have. As a player he was a good quote. As a analyst, he give insight. I have no problem with him, per se.

LJB, I like Krukie. Always have. As a player he was a good quote. As a analyst, he give insight. I have no problem with him, per se.

He sucks. Says off the wall **** with no basis in fact just to be colorful. I remember about five years ago he was asked which player under the age of 30 he would take to start a team and he said "Michael Young."

Mind you A-Rod, Pujols, Miguel Cabrera, Grady Sizmore and Mark Teixeira, among others, were all under 30 at the time.

And his performance on the day the Mitchell Report was released was embarrassing.
