Running rare air crash thread

These are becoming rarer and rarer and thank God. I looked up 2010 and there were 5 major crashes (none in the U.S.) This year there has been one U.S. fatality (that one Southwest plane where the engine exploded and the woman almost got sucked out the window.)

As someone who has taken several Lion Air flights (none by choice), I am 0 percent surprised.
