Publishing a book

Anybody here ever publish a book? I'm sure with so many writers, surely there must be somebody...

I'm working on a memoir. I'm about halfway through. Was just looking for stories of how anybody here got published and any tips you may have.

If this has been covered before, i apologize, but I searched and didn't find anything.

I think Moddy has. Perhaps Jones, if he can escape the gulag long enough to write about it.
