I leave for soccer in about 45 minutes. I'm feeling pretty damn hungry, but I'm hoping the game will distract me.

Last visit to the toilet left things pretty tapped out, I think. I mean, I didn't really need to flush, if you know what I'm saying.

Anyone have the sneaking suspicion that Jones is somehow tied in with the "Cloverfield" trailer that everyone's talking about. Roar? Nope. Jones moaning. Monster tearing apart NYC? Nope. Explosive cleansing run amok. 1-18-08 -- the film's release date? Nope. Richter scale readings.

That's the name that's going around, though everyone agrees it's a bull**** title -- project was just using that name to cloak the project. Big talk around the web over the weekend. Paramount even pulled all copies of the trailer they could find from the web, including cell phone movies on YouTube. They're being pretty mysterious about it.

I had a series of colonics a few years ago.

During one visit, Raisa, my colon hydrotherapist (for you L.A. readers, she's the one who takes ads out in LAWeekly with the line art of the colons), picks up the phone, immediately gets into a heated argument with someone who thinks it's all a sham.

She finishes the call, slams down the phone, mutters something in Russian. She puts an earpiece back in her ear so she can continue watching her soap opera. She hits the launch button on my colon cleansing and then proceeds to take a huge bite out of a sub sandwich from Von's deli.

I couldn't stop laughing. I didn't go back.

Back from soccer. Made a quick trot to the PortaJohn at halftime (my apologies to the old man with the white dog who went in after me) and managed to stave off further ****ting as well as the opposition: a 1-0 win!

Now, however, I have just chugged my evening's purge lotion. In ten minutes, if you can hear screaming as far south as Philadelphia, that'd be me.

I will say, though, that my hunger is abated. I mean, I'd like to eat, but I was much hungrier a couple of hours ago.

And Pope, that creature you posted is ****ing horrendous.
