Nice job! What i've noticed so far is that the site is now smart phone friendly. Pages now automatically adjust to correct size.

Anyone else find any differences or new toys?

I love it too... a little easier on the eyes to read after years of the same looking site.

Whichever one of you came up with this idea... I won't say anything bad about you. (For the next week, anyway... just kidding. Great job!)

Finally got upgraded to the new version of SMF and it was a big step up. The guys did a great job getting it done quick. There's still some tweaking to be done (gotta get the logo back at the top of the page) but it looks pretty nice so far!

When I first saw it, I thought the site had crashed and this was one of those "The URL sportsjournalists.com is now for sale!" kinda deals. Luckily I was incorrect.

While I like the look, I've got to give two thumbs down to the new layout.

1. I can no longer navigate to another board using the "Jump to" function at the bottom of the page. Before, if I was on Anything Goes, I could go down there and go directly to Sports and News. Can't do that anymore.

2. Worse, I can't log in on the mobile version on my Blackberry. There are two blank boxes that are unlabeled. When I enter my username and password, nothing happens.

Anyone else having these issues?

Yeah, I can't use the "jump to" drop down, either. That's a pain, but overall I'm happy with the new look, I guess.

You know when you get in your car in a crowded parking lot, and it takes you a minute to realize you got in the wrong car? That's how it felt signing in here this morning.

But it looks nice. Can you make the Hello text smaller and less bold? I think we had this discussion a long time ago, it's very conspicuous.

And the clock is still wrong.

I already put in the request for them to check out the "Jump to" feature this morning, so we will have to wait and see.

Wow, someone who still uses a Blackberry! All I can tell you is that it works fine on my iPhone. I haven't had a Blackberry for years.

I've been trying to get them to fix the clock for awhile now. Hopefully they can get that done. As for the hello text, I wouldn't hold your breath on that one.

The server clock must be on Jupiter.

I have a blackberry, I will have a blackberry until they pry it out of my hands, or RIM finally goes RIP, which could be at any moment.

The site via blackberry looks better now than it did before. Not going to log out to find out if I have the same problem as Dyno, though.

I only logged out because when I was logged in, it wouldn't show new posts. Where it used to show "new" in brackets, I now only had empty brackets.

My blackberry will probably end up getting pried out of my hands by the end of the year when my office switches us over to new phones. Not looking forward to that.

But for now, I am seriously bummed about this new mobile sj development. :(

What kind of blackberry? Mine shows the [NEW] buttons. And it does fit the screen much better. You might have to upgrade your software?

It's a Tour (I think. It's a few years old.) And you're probably right about needing to upgrade the software. I assume the upgrades get pushed to it, but I might be wrong about that.

The point Dyno is making isn't only for Blackberrys. When I click "login" on my laptop, I just get two empty boxes, a "360" and a "keep me logged in" box. The words "Username" and "password" appear nowhere.

Also, when I go to reply to a PM, some of the categories/listings/whatever are invisible as well.

My account is all screwed up. I'm having the same problem as IJAG ... only on my home computer. It tries to log-in, but the authentication is invisible, among other things.

What's odd is that when I turned on my laptop, I didn't even have to log-in. I was logged in "forever" on my home computer.

It's also telling me I'm ignoring posters I'm not.

As far as look, it would be cool if there was a Youtube link option ... the kind that allows the video to show up, a la the image button, instead of just the link.
