William Shatner, beautiful women in red dresses and a flaming gay guy as the contestant. Someone with a warped mind thought this up.

Thought up what?

ABC.... Dumb game show I am going to be bored with soon. But the flaming gay contestant, who was just dancing like Jerry Lewis on speed, was made for this spectacle.

This may be the dumbest show ever aired.
This contestant makes Ross the Intern from Leno look masculine.

Old Jerry Lewis or young Jerry Lewis?

I ask because I saw Jerry on SVU a few weeks ago, and I don't think speed would get him in shouting distance of normal at this point, let alone fast.

Young Jerry Lewis, of course. The guy is also pretty dumb, which is just adding to the spectacle.

The question just now was:

"What country was the first to grant marriage status to same-sex couples?"

And Shatner said, "If you don't know the answer to this, there is no heaven."

Edit: He got it wrong. He said, Denmark, because he was pretty sure it was Amsterdam (which he thought is in Denmark).

Well, that was entertaining. They made the mistake of peaking with the first guest (was he the first guest, or the first one I saw?). Nobody will ever live up to that guy. They should just make him the permanent contestant, because in a minute I am turning the channel, never to watch this again.

Ha ha. The new contestant has a granite chin, is wearing a naval officer's uniform, went to Top Gun school and flies F-14s. Perfect.

Is it Goose, Maverick or Ice?

Iceman... After a lobotomy. I can't believe the **** he didn't know. I figured, "naval officer," has to have a brain. Nuh uh.

Example, "Which democrat lost his chance at the presidency in 2004 after yelling "Yeahhaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyy!" during his Iowa Caucus concession speech?"

Blank stare.

Too bad he isn't entertaining like the first guy. I've already moved on. Nothing to see here.

Well, the guy could have been overseas when Dean did that.

Yeah. But then he didn't know, "What cartoon character was famous for saying, 'Be wery, wery quiet. I'm hunting wabbits.' "

I've seen some pretty dumb people on game shows. You would think they'd be embarassed.
I saw a contestant on 'Who Wants to be a Millionaire' guess the wrong number of strings typically found on a guitar.
I saw another contestant guess that Little Jack ***rner stuck his thumb in a pie and pulled out a blackbird.

I'd miss that one too. I don't know who could say the 'r's in "wery" but not in "rabbits."

Now, if the question was who said 'Be vewy vewy quiet. I'm hunting wabbits.' I'd know it was Elmer Fudd.

And Buck: I have no idea how many strings are on a guitar.

Well, I am guessing this is the game show for you, not Jeopardy. The guy got 15 chances before they kicked him off the stage. If you don't know the answer to the question you can pass (twice), until you get a question you think you know the answer to. Even with that, you have to miss five questions to lose. When he pulled the eliminator card (or whatever they called it), he didn't automatically lose. When he got the eliminator card question wrong, he didn't lose. They gave him a second question, which he had to miss too, in order to finally get the boot. Apparently this is the game show designed to make everyone a winner.

Typically, six.
Even though I'm a guitar player, I won't hold that against you, IJAG.

I don't listen to guitars, definitely haven't been super close to one. close enough to count strings.

I learned how to play 'Stairway to Heaven' when I was 16.
Jimmy Page didn't write it until he was 27.
