2nd in the nation Byrnes (S.C.) at No. 1 St. Thomas Aquinas at the great old NASL venue Lockhart Stadium tonight at 8 (on ESPNU)

My prediction.... St. Thomas 38-10

The MaxPrep guys were here today from California -- TWO of them for this game. I thought that was great.

I've got a photo of former Colorado State boys Joey Porter and Urban Meyer talking on the sidelines... now, if I could just transfer it to this board... grrrrr

Oh... 42-28 final, St. Thomas

Correction, 42-34 final.

If LaMarcus Joyner (No. 3 who returned the kick for a TD) ain't in Gainesville next year, I will be stunned.

Is anybody watching ths? Just a ridiculous collection of talent.

I would think a lot of sports journalists aren't watching it because they had to go cover the JV game because they work hard too.

I was at the game with my secularly minded daughter, a sophomore at the Catholic school.

After one flag from a linesman, the entire St. Thomas crowd starts chanting "Bull****! Bull****!"

With mock shock and disapproval, I asked her, "What book of the Bible teaches that?!?"

Her response, without missing a beat: "All of them."

Awesome.

Is that supposed to be some stamp of approval or validity as to the importance of the game?
I don't get what you are saying.
