Yeah, the Commanders went from no primetime games to eight non-traditional windows (including international) this past year, somehow losing all eight.

Commanders in 2024 had a monday night game in September and a Thanksgiving night game, and a late season Sunday night game.

God, my memory sucks. Of course, Bengals was the Monday night game, and the Falcons game was flexed to Sunday night. Must have eaten too much buffalo chicken dip and forgotten they played on Thanksgiving night that year.

For the record, I don't remember any of these games. I just didn't think any teams can avoid having any primetime/stand alone games, with so many one-offs being created.

There used to be a rule that every team had to play a Thursday night game, which made sense for competitive reasons. They did away with it last year, though, and the Saints, Titans and IIRC the Browns had none.

The Cowboys played four Thursday games this season, although only two — on Thanksgiving and Christmas – were on a short week. One was in Week 1 against the Eagles, and another was the week after Thanksgiving.

I'd expect the Pats to pick up a few more Sunday and Monday night games, along with the one traditional TNF game, potentially the opener in Seattle, as was noted here earlier.

I doubt they burn Super Bowl rematch on the Seattle opener, or a division game. I'm thinking Chiefs or Bears.

Bears makes more sense. No idea who is going to be playing QB for the Chiefs, and that game is announced well ahead of the season.

There was a Super Bowl rematch this season, Eagles at Chiefs, and it wasn't even the Week One Sunday nighter, or a Sunday or Monday night at all. Fox grabbed it for their 4:30 in Week 2. And to be blunt, what about Super Bowl 60 has anyone thinking the nation's fans are crying out for a rematch?

Watched the alternative halftime show while on a boring work call. They way that the crowd got so excited about the line where the country singer talked about the fact that he would be cancelled if he told his daughter that “little boys ain’t little girls”. What a bunch of ****ing weirdos.
