Gundy doesn't 'splain hisself

Gundy made a bad call settling for the field goal. But for once, his defense made him look like a genius. It almost ended up being a good call, but the penalty on special teams ruined it.

More on the A&M loss: "We made mistakes that contributed to them coming back. The truth is, if Dantrell (Savage) doesn't put the ball on the ground and we don't have a (busted play) on the six-inch line, we're probably not talking about (a loss) today.

Just be sure none of those media jackals has anything bad to say about one of your precious youngsters.

I hope Jenni Carlson writes about it, just to remind Gundy which one holds the hammer between coach and journalist.

But I do not fault Gundy for trying to gain field position. This the Big 12, brother. It iisn't middle school football. It's Moore's fault for not executing it properly. Gundy may show his ass on a personal basis, but he's a good coach of football (as opposed to a football coach ... there is a difference).
