Anybody know any good sites to download good (free) games for macs?

More specifically, I'm after some of my old faves: Oregon Trail, Lemmings, etc.

Thanks for any help! :D

Dammit.
You made me laugh when I was hoping you would provide a link.
At least I laughed.

A) I don't download games. I play them online.
B) I don't have a Mac.
C) I have never seen or played either of the games he posted.

I played Oregon Trail about 20, 22 years ago in school, on those old-ass computers that used 5-1/4" floppies and took an eleventybillion years to boot up. Somehow I never got into it during last year's Trailjacks.

There's an Apple II emulator out there that will let you play Oregon Trail. It was discussed on these boards some time ago. Unfortunately, and ironically, it only works on a PC.

I did a quick search, however, and there's an online clone of the game. It's at http://www.globalgamenetwork.com/westward_trail.html

Happy buffalo hunting!

P.S. - If you want to download some trials and small games, download.com has a Mac games section you can browse.

I'm a big fan of Oregon Trail. I even bought the disc last year. But I would play Number Munchers all day long. Watch out for those Troggles. ...

More proof that IJAG's life has been too sheltered! :D

You haven't lived until you've died trying to ford the river.

The original version has cheesier graphics and is cool in that nostalgic sense.

All I know is I had to click 'keep walking' every two seconds. WTF?
It's so you can check on your people's status and go hunting...those important things ;)
