I thought the Cavemen thing was funny and even the gecko was tolerable, but why would Geico make the decision to bring back the campaign with NASCAR driver Mike Wallace's "nephew" for a second year? It was never funny to begin with.

The kid's even got a Posh Spice hairdo this year.

Who are the ad wizards who come up with this stuff?

They'r recycling all the old, tired and totally not funny caveman spots as well. I almost threw something at the TV this morning

If you're bringing back something, how about the True Hollywood Story series?

The biggest problem with the Warren (or is it Lauren) Wallace ads? It talks about how Mike Wallace is a "Busch Series" driver. The series changed names in the offseason from the Busch Series to the Nationwide Series. Personally I couldn't care less which rotating advertisement the series has gone to this year for its name, but it does create a bit of a flaw in the ad.

It's Lauren. I have hero cards.

And anyone that doesn't love the Lauren Wallace ads has no sense of humor. None.

"It ends with me putting him in the wall."

Saw the kid this past week. He's tiny as ****, and had a toothpick in his mouth for any photo. It was awesome. Easily the highlight for me.

The old commercials were MUCH better than the one I saw last week. That one was awful.

The "putting him in the wall" stuff is classic.

Is it Warren Wallace or Lauren Wallace?
And is Cavemen still on TV?

Nothing's on TV right now because of the writer's strike. But as far as I know, it hasn't been cancelled.

Take the train to Happytown. Woo woo!

I'm becoming increasingly irritated by the damn English or Australian accent of the little lizard. Not only does he speak, but it's in a cute little accent.

It's to the point, where if I ever run across that gekko, I'm gonna step on his neck and we won't hear that little cockney or down under intonation ever again.

We now have automatically generated Geico ads at the top and bottom of the page ... but I guess I deserved that ...

Cavemen = Not funny.
Gecko = Annoying, but easy to ignore.
Wallace boy = obnoxious.
Spots with Joan Rivers and James Lipton = Very smart and funny. I laugh at those two every time. All others, I try to forget.

Now those two I simply cannot stand.

Now it can be said: I ****in want Tara Guesig, or whatever her name is. She is quite fetching. I want her far more than I ever wanted McGriddles girl. I would drive McGriddles girl to Burger King and dump her off there, in my Geico-insured car, in order to make nice with Tara. If I had a list of top five commercial women whom my wife allowed me to spend spend eight seconds with, she'd be no. 1 thru 10.

Every time I see that commercial, I think I should post about it. Then I realize, nah, that would be lame, even by my standards.

So thank you Walter. Thank you for lifting this burden off my shoulders. I am free.

Tara, if you're out there, PM me.
