Aired on Golf Channel last night.
Guests were Lee Trevino, Gary McCord, John Daly.
Very very funny.
Catch one of the many many re-airs if you can.

I think Feherty has one of the greatest jobs in the world. And he is equal to both ends of it.

It was great to hear him during the Open, though I didn't notice a lot of tomfoolery, which is too bad. My favorite Feherty story:

Feherty is great. Miss his bigger role on CBS and his interactions with McCord. Big hole for the Tiffany's golf coverage.

Saw his stand-up show here in Indy last month, laughed my tail off. Look for the schedule online and if he hits your town, run to the box office. If you're a big fan then a lot of the material will sound familiar (like that Tiger story above), but he also has a lot of new stuff. And the theatre we saw him in had seats behind the stage as well as in front, but he worked the room like he had been doing it for 20 years. A natural.

Great moment when Trevino and McCord told of how old-time players liked really hot days because they would quickly wipe the face of their drivers on their forehead or face to get moisture on it. It would cut down on the spin off the clubface and make the ball go straighter. Or they would use a chap stick, and put some of it on their driver head. Daly just shook his head and said, "boy you guys were a bunch of cheaters."
I personally know of a Tour player in the 90s who would, if he had an early tee time, surreptitiously wipe his driver face on some grass that had dew on it. Rules official caught him once and made him dry his clubhead.

He reminds me so much of that Irish character in "Braveheart" that talks to God.
