It was OK. I laughed when the midget walked through the kitchen during the porn shoot.

Cran -- Ditto, The girl completely missed, so I had to rewind it five or six times...

For an episode with so little Ari, that was pretty damn good.

Because if you can't get Ari Gold, the next best thing is Billy Walsh.

By the way, if anyone watched Grenier's slobfest about tracking down his deadbeat dad, the closing credits listed one of the photogs: Ari Gold. Real name or a nod to Piven's character?

I was hoping to overhear one of the girls in the background saying, 'No, absolutely NO ATM!"

I loved Walsh calling for a fluffer as he went to read the Medellin script...

"I've got reading to do."

So would anyone here actually go to see Medellin? I might but it's not exactly a blockbuster that would get Vincent out of the poorhouse.

Interestingly enough, IMBD says Killing Pablo - based on Mark Bowden's book - is scheduled for release in 2009. Good book, so I'll likely see that. Bowden is a former Philly Inq writer who wrote Blackhawk Down, though that movie was borderline crap compared to the book.

I have a strong suspicion that Medellin will bomb out.

I'm just glad this season is over. By far the worst of the three.

I don't know if I'm just burned out on it or I can't get into it after investing myself in the Sopranos for the hour before, but this show has lost a lot of its luster in my eyes.

People went and saw this http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0181865/ so I don't see why they wouldn't go see Medellin.

I guess. One's about the American drug problem the other's about a Colombian drug dealer, not sure what the attraction to Mainstream America would be to the latter. I'd probably wait for the DVD.

My point was that if people will flock to see a reflection on failed drug policy, certainly they will go see a biopic on Pablo Escobar.

The drug aspect isn't the stigma it was, and the man led quite a life.

I wouldn't go if it's all in Spanish. I have trouble with subtitles. Otherwise, I'm in.

I took that to be Walsh just ****ing with E, but I guess anything's possible.

I doubt it. Walsh usually ****s with E by tellling him what he really thinks (aside from the whole thing about having a guy blow Vince).

Well, the having a guy blow Vince was what made me think that...

This season is far from over.

Well, technically it is over. A new season starts June 17.

The entire episode was built around Eric. Not a great episode by any means, but a passable half-hour.

HBO is calling that the season finale, but with a new season set to start in two weeks, it's a coin flip.
