Several themes on this thread:
A few weeks ago I was driving in an area where a left turn lane onto a very busy major road that has an interstate on ramp about a block after the turn does not have the best flow for staying in the lanes off the turn or getting to the merge if you need to. Most people who go to the interstate know what lane they need to be in (causing a huge back up most of the time in that turn lane) but plenty don't. Plus, it sucks even if you just head straight, and I always go straight because it is where I live. I have been in more than one close call from people not figuring it out.
Anyway, a guy comes blasting through three lanes of traffic to hit that on ramp. No way he didn't know what he was doing, almost hit me, did have his turn signal on though, which obviously makes it OK. I honked at him and he flipped me off. Then rolled down the window and kept the bird raised as long as I could see him, well onto the on ramp. When he was clearly in the wrong. I don't think it has ever stuck with me so much when someone else got mad at me when they were totally at fault. I guess he was just telling me to **** off instead of **** you, which would fit from him having to know what he did, but it was weird.
My gym used to have the all-welcoming showers but got rid of them with a remodel. I honestly didn't care that much if I needed to shower, just did it and moved on. Definitely tons of naked old dudes there. I don't mind changing in front of a locker, but I am not walking around naked. And it has happened plenty where the locker room is empty and someone plops into a locker right next to mine. I will never get it. It almost has to be a force of habit spot or something.
My middle school and high school both had open showers, but I never remember anyone using them (and this was the 90s). There was no rule we had to, and as someone else said, there was no time anyway. After sports everyone just went home. I did have a moment of anxiety before middle school gym started that we had to shower, but that was for naught.
