Was kinda hoping for Kentucky instead of South Carolina because I'd much rather go to Lexington than Columbia, but I guess it makes sense.

Vols get off easy but I guess tradition matters somewhat.

Mizzou fans really wanted usce because that has become quite the rivalry.

Given that there were always going to be a few oddball matchups out of necessity (Ole Miss-Oklahoma? Vandy versus Auburn and Clanga?) they probably minimized the damage the best they could.

More like the ADs of those schools await with bated breath. They need those checks.

Just tragic. He continued the App State tradition of big upsets on the road with that win over Texas A&M a few years ago.

Given that there were always going to be a few oddball matchups out of necessity (Ole Miss-Oklahoma? Vandy versus Auburn and Clanga?) they probably minimized the damage the best they could.

Don't forget, the new scheduling format has teams playing every other SEC team every two years and home and away every four. So even some of the regular games that might be going away next year, like Florida-Tennessee, will still pop up often. Like you said, probably as good as we could hope for in this modern era of mega-conferences.
At least until the ACC implodes, the SEC expands to 24 teams, and we have to figure this out all over again.
