One top-25 matchup and the next best game is ... Sparky-Clanga? Ooof. Illinois-Duke and El Assico are mildly interesting at least.

Though ULM has a chance to do the funniest thing ever this week...

It was probably expecting too much but I was working on an alternate title in case USF snuck in the Top 25 before traveling to the Swamp. Florida has promising prospects but an awful lot of people are assuming that's an airtight operation when their coach was a dead man walking last Veterans Day.

Kansas at Missouri is the only game I care about. As my friend once yelled, KANSAS SUCKS! We weren't even at a Mizzou-Kansas game when he yelled it.

It's a palate cleanser for next week -- LSU-Florida / Georgia-Tenn / A&M-Notre Dame and a couple potential top 25 matchups pending outcomes this week

Iowa’s supposed revived passing game better come out of hibernation this weekend or the Hawkeyes will lose by two TDs (or more) in Ames. The Clones look legit.

They're one quarterback injury from staring 4-8 in the face, especially if FSU is legit. The schedule after USF is Nos. 3, 5, 7 and 19. Then Cowbell U., followed by 4, UK, 20, 22 and 14.

I might've gone with Norman, Is That You?

Saw that Gundy (OSU) was complaining that Oregon was buying its team, conveniently forgetting how much T. Boone Pickens has contributed to the OSU Athletics over the years.
Gundy also whined that it's unfair that he has to play Oregon when Oregon has a bigger budget. Dan Lanning pointed out that OK State opened against UT-Martin.

Just for ****s and giggles, I checked out The Athletic poll of all 136 FBS teams.
USC dropped from 42 to 43.
Missouri State rose from 131 to 130.
Final score was USC 73, Missouri State 13.
I guess that last field goal caused the Trojans to drop a spot and the Bears to jump up a spot.

Recency bias!
