I like Will Farrell, but it seems like he's playing the same character over and over and only the setting changes.

That trailer is based on a real ABA player. I believe Wendell Ladner posed in just that manner. He was a totally crazy guy.

Wendell Ladner is from around our parts. He died in a plane crash and Dr. J was a pallbearer. Lots of great Wendell Ladner stories in "Loose Balls," which I highly recommend.
