And an addiction to Internet porn.

It can happen to anyone and it happened to Idaho.

Many of you may have noticed that Idaho hasn't been around on this board for a while. Some of you may have been told that he was having "computer problems". Truth is - his wife and his mother-in-law took away his laptop. It was an intervention. Idaho was addicted to Internet porn and something had to be done. Morning, noon and night - whenever Idaho thought he had a few minutes of privacy - he'd be surfing the web for porn. It was a sickness and now Idaho is in the process of healing.

Cold turkey. No Internet access and thus no way to feed the masturbation beast. It's been rough on Idaho but he's making it though. He's taking more care with his diet and he's exercising more. He and his wife have rediscovered that old closeness. Idaho is getting better.

So this weekend when you say a prayer for your team to win or to cover the spread - say an extra prayer for Idaho and remember that there for the grace of God could go you.

I'm glad he's getting help. Internet porn is the dirty little secret of the Mormon church.

These are the pants I'm not wearing right now!, he PMd to Lugnuts and me.

Stop, we wrote to him, you must get some help. And some 100% cotton denim.

We said nothing to anyone...until he started sending pictures of his socks. And a raccoon hat.

Lugnuts is having a hard time with the whole ordeal. The medication has made it hard for her to type actual words. She emailed me yesterday. "THjse jhsauwu ajwhu!! YhskYGHKH st fkesh--swk. TEJjd!! " I don't agree, but I know where she's coming from.

I only wish I was kidding about this. It is my fault that I find humor in the suffering of others. People on the board know that is a fault of mine.

I've come to grips with my cynicism - but I'm surprised that so many here are poking fun at Idaho in his moment of trial. He has stuck up for many of the very ones who are now poking fun at his affliction. I wouldn't be surprised to see a more bitter - seeing the truth of things - taking no prisoners - Idaho return to the board once he's able to handle bandwidth without spanking.
