Going back to Tiger's match yesterday for a second.. Does Colsaerts play as well as he did if Tiger were the intimidator he used to be?

Listening on radio, one of the commentators just remarked that Tiger and Stricker offer each other no help reading greens. I'm sure that's why Tiger likes to play with him.

I thought he had a ****ty front 9. Stricker had the 'best ball' 7 of the 9 holes, I think?? Yes he looked good on the back 9 until he couldn't come up with the shot they really needed on 18. Inconsistent...

One tiny thing I noticed. I was on 17 right at that bridge they cross to get over the lake. I've watched Tiger some this Ryder Cup and have seen very little interaction with Stricker compared to what the other partners do. Whatever. As I mentioned, that's probably how he likes it. But at that bridge, you see the players up close. So on the par 3 17 yesterday afternoon Tiger'd hit a phenomenal tee shot.. But Donald'd topped it, knocking it about a foot and a half from the pin. So as Tiger and Stricker crossed the bridge, he paused, let Stricker catch up to him, and said something, which I believe was about not conceding Donald's putt. They didn't end up giving Donald that putt, which is perfectly understandable... But also seemed a little desperate. Like grasping.

Watching Tiger here alongside these exciting Ryder Cup rookies, I can't help feeling like I'm watching the end of something. Like the Tiger Era is passing.
