Man, this season has sucked something fierce. It's like the writers forgot there were eight more episodes after they killed off the lead terrorist.

Doesn't anyone think that China attacking CTU would cause nuclear war? Geez.

The season has sucked, but where could the writers have gone after that first episode?

Tonight's "oh ****" moment sucked. But Jack killing all those Chinese before getting caught was awesome. I just wish the season hadn't sucked as much as it has...

A show like that demanded that the viewer take a Road Runner-Wile E. Coyote suspension of belief anyway. And the shelf life of greatness was destined to be short. Be glad it took this long to suck.

I've been enjoying this season although it's the first one that has consistently made me laugh. It's gotten to the point that every time Jack shows up on screen, JR sings the Mighty Mouse theme. :D

I agree. Four out of the first five seasons were outstanding. It's tough to maintain a show like this.

I've been saying Jack would die this year for, well, 20 weeks. It's the only place for the show to go. Though a 24 without Jack Bauer would suck even worse.

The day that happens is the day I stop watching 24.

I've liked the season, but it just hasn't been as action-packed as I'd hoped. Following up last season would be tough, we all knew that, but the disappointments have been few and far between this season for me.

Thus killing whatever amorous mood you may have been in.

CTU's gotta be the worst enforcement agency ever. How many times has it been bombed/invaded/gassed/attacked?

At least once every season since Season 1.

So Jack has two hours to escape from armed Chinese guards, kill Chang and kill his father to get his nephew back. I say he pulls it off and kidnaps Audrey while he's at it. During the days/months between this season and next season, living on the lamb in seclusion with Jack will cure her post-traumatic hostage syndrome.

damn... I thought it was three hours left and then the previews said two episodes left. So they threw me off

I'm also betting that Lennox and the Secret Service agents in the van won't stop drooling over the video of Lisa & Bishop getting it on in time to get in there and save her life.

1. Season 5
2. Season 1
3. Season 4
4. Season 2
5. Season 6
6. Season 3 (I honestly remember almost nothing about it, just that it was awful...)

I agree that this season hasn't been on par with the others, but it's still a thrill-ride hour of TV for me. There have been some cool moments this season (mostly Jack killing people ... but hey, no one kills in a more entertaining way than Jack freakin Bauer!). Between "24" and "Heroes" I'm a happy guy on most Monday nights.

And, while someone else earlier in this thread said tonight's "oh **** moment" wasn't that great, I still muttered "Oh ****!" when the shot was fired.

I always found it interesting that terrorists feel it is necessary to setup their base of operatings within a 30-minute transportation ride of CTU. Seriously, those Muslim guys in the beginning, who knew about Jack Bauer, why didn't they just setup their base in, say, Chicago? Or maybe they could have setup their base in Richmond, Virginia.
