This plan is toast. It always takes a few days longer to pull the plug than people expect while the lawyers sort things out and people finally come to terms that their dream has died. And I’d say Infantino has a 1-in-4 chance of keeping his job.

They're starting to line up against the corrupt *******

Concacaf has taken aim at FIFA president Gianni Infantino, who scrapped his plan to sell off a stake in the organization to private investors.

Concacaf takes aim at FIFA president Infantino in blistering statement
Directly under and in front of the bus.

Concacaf's complaint over Infantino operating unilaterally was shared in an extraordinary statement from FIFA chief operating officer Kevin Lamour on Friday.
Lamour said the controversial proposal was "the project of one person" and said "the time has now come for football political leaders to ask themselves the right questions and make the right decisions."
Former U.S. Soccer president Carlos Cordeiro, who was a senior adviser for Infantino, quit on Friday due to the proposal."I cannot stand by while FIFA considers selling a stake in the World Cup," Cordeiro said. "Let me be clear. I had no involvement in this proposal, and I oppose it unequivocally."
Infantino is up for re-election in March. According to a report in The i Paper, Concacaf president and FIFA Council vice president Victor Montagliani is considering a run to challenge Infantino.

The sharp knives are out.
