2009 NFL Draft thread

My "work assignment for the day" was to write a story about the guy. So I got up at 10 and paid attention to the draft until 7 p.m. and waited for the guy to get taken, interviewed him and wrote a story.

Is that good enough for you?

If this was your assignment, then yeah, you were supposed to sit in your chair and do nothing while waiting for the guy to get drafted.

But then again, what do I know?

For the second straight year, I had to watch this ****ing calamity all the way until the end to wait and see if the dude I covered was drafted.

I demand those five hours back.

I did this as well today. It wasn't fun.

***** at spnited all you want. I got upset with your post as well. There is a separate thread for the NFL Draft haters. Take it over there. I have enjoyed not having to read through the bull**** on this thread. It was a nice change of pace for SJ.

SC, for me, I got upset because, for one of the few times I have noticed in my limited time here at SJ, there was a thread for the Draft (for those that genuinely care) and an anti-Draft thread (for those that don't.)

I believed that Cosmo's post about hating the NFL Draft belonged on the other thread. I was enjoying reading the opinions from people more educated than myself without having to weed through all the hatred BS. So it hit a nerve with me when he posted.
