Look, I love bacon on a sandwich as much as anyone, but are we reaching the point where this hyperbolic love of bacon our society wants to perpetuate is going too far? People are putting bacon on stuff that bacon shouldn't be on just to show how cool and clever they are, and how much they love bacon. It's so phony.

You're right, I don't drink coffee... I stir a cup of bacon grease with bacon and then eat the two together.

I knew as soon as I saw this thread title that mustang would be all over it like grease on bacon.

I'll bet that thing tastes pretty good, but it's not worth $8.00.

Dang my poor screen-reading skills in the morning.

I thought that this thread was "Yet another balcony delight," and thought I might be treated to some sorrid on-the-road hotel tale.

Alas, it's only about smoked fried pork belly.

That's what I thought last night, before I clicked on the thread.

This thread is worthless without coupons for free bacon covered funnel funnel cakes

1. I've had the funnel cakes at Knott's, and they're very good. It has been about six or seven years though, and bacon was not offered as a topping the last time I indulged.

2. With regard to this:

I'd rather read people's hyperbolic ravings about bacon than the same about the seminal work of Steve Winwood from the mid-to-late 1980s, or Def Leppard/Knight Ranger/Poison.
Or some ridiculous sitcom.
Or how life would be better if MTV showed music videos.
Or 'Road House on AMC now!'

Bacon trumps all of the above, in all their myriad SportsJournalists.com incarnations.
Say 'yes' to bacon, Headbutt.
Say 'yes.'
