So much for the CT Suns running the table . Last night their undefeated season came to a crushing end when they were blown out by Indiana at home

A nice story in Katie Douglas scoring 23 points in her return to Connecticut. She led the Indiana Fever to a 75-46 win over Connecticut. Douglas played five seasons in Connecticut but was traded to Indiana for Tamika Whitmore during the offseason.

The only interest I have in the WNBA is seeing who is going to be the Girl Who Changes The WNBA forever. Every year or so, a bunch of columnists slobber over the fact that THIS girl is the one who will magically transform the league into the Big Time with their skills and charm.

Olayinka Sanni the rookie from West Virginia University is now the starting center for the Detroit Shock. She's a good fantasy pickup if you need a big woman in the middle. It will be interesting to see what Bill Lambeer does with her.

The Fever plays LA Sparks on Thursday. That should be a good game. Lisa Leslie and Candace Parker so far seem very tough to handle for any team.

Somebody was telling me that the WNBA game last night on ESPN2 did a 1 share. I'm not sure if that was just local or if that's a national number. If true - isn't that the same rating ESPN got for David Beckham's first game in the states for whatever soccer team he's playing for?
