When they were like 96-10, I kept looking at the roster, especially without Kershaw, and thinking, "This lineup is 99-6?"

I believe this was year ago, remember when the Giants had a great first half, then after all-star break, we couldn't buy a win? Barely made the playoffs and eliminated by the Cubs I believe. And that was a veteran team, a lot older, but still had pieces to win.

Seeing the Dodgers start to **** the bed, or knowing that the Indians may win 40 games in a row, get to the World Series, and still **** it up.

Here's a crazy thing though. Before starting their streak, the Indians were 70-56 and well ahead in the division.

So the Indians have won 19 in a row ... and the Dodgers have lost 16 of 17 ... and the Dodgers are STILL 4.5 games ahead.

In February of 2012 (when literally no one was picking the Nats to win the East), the team - and I presume Stephen - agreed it was in Strasburg's best interest to be on an innings limit that year. When August came around, was it suddenly no longer in Stephen's best interest to be on an innings limit that year? Had the team's success magically healed Stephen's elbow more efficiently?
